Position Details:

As an Energy Efficiency Field Assessor at UES, you will play a vital role in supporting our energy efficiency programs. You’ll be responsible for managing and processing program applications, ensuring compliance with requirements, and providing excellent customer service to clients. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about energy conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process program applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify applicant eligibility and compliance with program standards
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth processing
  • Maintain detailed records of applications, approvals, and rejections
  • Generate reports and data analysis to track program performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service and program support
  • Assist in improving processes and program documentation
  • Stay informed on industry trends and new energy efficiency technologies

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency principles preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Energy Efficiency Knowledge: Familiarity with efficient technologies such as lighting, HVAC, insulation, or renewable energy
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of energy efficiency standards and incentive programs
  • CRM Experience: Comfortable using CRM systems to manage client interactions
